Argh, didn't take a pic but g/f suggested we take a spin on the Ural to go to New Years brunch.  A brisk 36F on the way out and 31F on the return.

2013 is off to a good start.  Thumbsup

Damn Bimmer guys ostracizing the Ducati...   Lol

Ken, Kevin and I got out for a spin around Julien.  I saw 40 degrees...Kevin saw 38.  I'm pretty sure Ken was the smart one staying in denial about it all.

All in all, a darn fine day!

Robert, how many BMW's have graced your garage?

I consider that self-ostrich, or something like that.

Same here.  It's hell just walking the dog right now.  Driveway's clear because i keep it that way, but that first turn onto the street and I'd be sliding sideways.

Doubtless, our STN trio cleaned them out of energy drinks and nuked burritos.

I've never seen a Circle K with one satellite dish, let alone three.   Headscratch

It's been so many years since I could ride on Jan. 1, it felt like an obligation.   Lol  As you can tell from the photo, I didn't make it out until late afternoon.

I've only been on that road twice now, but it seems like the best in the neighborhood if you just have a few hours. Is it?

CalTrans hadn't completely plowed the parking lot for the overlook so I had to climb up on the snow berm to get the pic. The FJR couldn't put out enough heat that day.

Now that I think about it, I took that photo last week in 2012, not 2013. My bad....
