After my last couple years' visits to the Novi Expo Center show, no.  It's become a huge waste of time, IMO.

Looks like Novi might be a little better this year (not as good as 5 years ago, but better). I hear that BMW, Triumph, and KTM will be back. Still no Ducatis, Aprilias, or Moto Guzzis though. Lots of cool little bikes coming out to look at, and I'm in the market for a 40th birthday present.  Thumbsup

I'll probably be at the Wastenaw Community College booth for at least part of one day (free admission if I help out). I might take the cafe project to the vintage Japanese booth if I can get it there.

For the past three years, I've also been going to the Cleveland show to see the more exotic brands. That show looks smaller this year, and no different than Novi show at this point, so I'll be skipping out on that one.

I'm pretty sure Ducati was there last year, I remember sitting on a Diavel.

Oops. I spent a day there volunteering and didn't even notice. Crazy  Remember when they used to have that big "World of Ducati" tent complete with models? That was pretty memorable.

I still want a Monster bad. Maintenance headaches be damned.

The Mpls show is next weekend and I go no matter what just to run into old friends if for no other reason.  THEY buy new bikes even when I don't.  For $10 I can't afford to stay away.  I won't be manning a booth this year, but our local VJMC and Antique clubs put on really nice displays.

Even when the Corporate booths aren't there, our local dealers often put a few on display though I know it's not the same.

I think the dealer show at Indy is open to the public next month. I may go there instead of Novi this year.

I've been disappointed with the show for that last few years, but hey it is still motorcyles in winter.  This year sounds like it should be better with a few of the euro manufacturers comming back. Honda has a few bikes I would like to check out as well. The new family of 500's plus I would like to see the new gold wing bagger. Anybody planning a breakfast meet for the novi show?

Not sure what day I'm going yet. Once I figure that out, I'll post a day and time to see if anyone wants to meet up.

Go as early as you can on teh day you can attend. (I try for Friday night).

Go to the web a couple of days before the show, and download the list of vendors/map, and decide what you wish to see . . .the crowds make it easy to walk right past the ONE booth you really wanted to see . . ..

Be prepared to be amused at life's rich pagent.
