My daughter and I are planning on a trip to Seattle in June, non-motorcycle unfortunately.  I want to stay in a house / condo arangement instead of a hotel for a week, budget of less than $200/ day.  Do any of you locals have recomendations or know of good places to stay? Within 1/2 hour of downtown would be best, but 1 hour wouldn't be out of the question.  I've looked online, and found some stuff, but thought I would ask a local if they knew of any unpublized places.  Any parts of town to avoid?

Thanks,

Greg

I'm not sure of the current rates but I put my daughter and ex up in an apartment here the last time they visited.  I live in the same complex so it worked out well until I fell and broke my left humerus - hypoglycemia related.  If you call try to speak with Sara and mention that I referred you.  15 - 20 minutes to downtown Seattle, a little less to Bellevue.
