I am planning a ride to Eskimo Joe's in Stillwater, OK. I am shooting for the 14th of April. I am located in Wichita, KS. Anyone in KS, OK, TX, AR, MO, that would be up for a ride is welcome to meet me there. It would be great to meet fellow members and other riders. Approximate time to arrive at Eskimo Joe's will be forth coming.

at approx. 300 miles one way for me, a lot will depend on weather conditions.  I've been wanting to do this since I first saw the invite a few years ago, but seems like every year temps are too cold to leave early enough to be there on time.  What time are you planning on lunch?

I am thinking the arrival time into Stillwater should be somewhere between 11am to noon.

our average low temps mid-April are around 43.  I plan to keep an eye on this and if temperature is tolerable for a 5 hour ride beginning at sunrise, I'll give it a go.

one kid refuses to ride after lisa's (ladyninja's) accident a couple years ago. the other has an mc endorsement but not a highway-worthy bike. she'll have to ride pillion. chances are good we'll make it.

Fred,
I plan on riding the FJ there, I'm hoping to have the Goldwing sold before then. It is a hoot to ride, but we are not using it as often as we had hoped. Funny thing, after riding the Goldwing for about 7 months, then hopped on the FJ, it felt like a 250 Ninja in comparison. I'll never think of it as a pig ever again! Inlove

Goldwings really are a magic carpet ride. The longest day I've gotten in on it so far was a 450 mile day last July. OAT was as high as 105*, I couldn't believe how good I felt at the end of the day. BTW, I'm only 5' 6 5/8" tall,  Lol I haven't had much trouble handling the Wing.

Fred,
The Goldwing went to its new home today, so no danger of riding it to Stillwater. Who is putting on the rally in Marble Falls in May? I probably should know the answer...............

I am sorry to inform everyone. I am not going to be able to make this ride. I know that I am the member that has orginized this. I put my bike in the shop to get the head rebuilt back in the middle of February. I was told that it would be a few weeks. It has now been there 2 months. I am quite pissed off. I was really hoping this early spring ride was going to be a success and could become an annual event. Again I am extremely sorry that I am not able to make this ride.

Drive. No one cares how you get there. We may give you a ration of #### for driving, but it will be done in good humor! It will be a success and grow if only two or three of us show up. Motorcycle people are crazy like that.
