Where have you all gone to?  The Mi photo tag has dropped to the 2nd page, like the first time since the game started, No RTE.  Have we all gotten old?  Jobs, or significant other got you tied down/beat down?  Maybe we have just rode Michigan out?

I know I am guilty of being very busy with work and life in general, whats keeping you off the bike?

I think this is the longest the photo tag has ever stayed in one place in Michigan, and it is at one of the best places for breakfast in the US.  Something must be wrong in Region #4,  might have to report this to the government so that it can get fixed.

I believe it's the damn road salt!

Too much hassle ( IMNSHO ) to clean the bike after a 1-2 hr( or less ) ride...
Last time I had mine out was for a Sunday before Christmas ride to the auto parts store for some shocks for the truck. Turned into a 25 mile jaunt but that was BEFORE the salt hit the road........

Crazy to ride in salt. The pulverized salt will get onto your electrical contacts and play havoc with your electrical system. Ask me how I know.

Well, I can only describe my lack of time for anything.

Work is crazy, I just hired a tech, so that will get better.

Home life is still a bit upside down, that too is slowly getting better.

The tag seemed to turn into a race, the current is a nice place. Mostly it happens to be placed just out side of my riding time schedule. I can't always do an 8 hours in the saddle day. But it is nice to check out where and what it is.

Lunches are about the same, happen to fall on days that are already planned or I get that call to go work on something.....

Yes it has slowed this last few weeks. Salt will keep me in the garage. Chores will keep me around the house.
When they are done, then I ride.

If Facebook posts are any indication it seems that many (in several regions) have gotten sick of the non-sense of a few here and don't check-in much anymore.

Nobody has called a RTE lately... usually it's done by you(wibornz) or sleazyrider. TheRedOnesAreSlower or I would call one, but nobody shows up except for SprintRSrider or D-Mac so it's just easier to call those guys on the phone. It's supposed to be 50-55 degrees Friday & Saturday w/ a 20% & 40% chance of rain so the two of us will be riding to Artesian Wells or somewhere in the vicinity for lunch. Tag along if you want. I've also taken the Norton out for a couple of short, & I do mean short spins. Other than that I've been swamped w/ work & trying to get my new building ready for move in & for the Open House. I'm ready & willing to ride anytime but since my last incident on the Duc I prefer to not ride alone! Cheers

I won't be available, as my military son is coming to town tomorrow for a week for a belated Christmas visit.   Bigok

I saw your post for the RTE before I came to this thread.  I have been Jones-ing for a ride lately too with an eye on the forecast.  I checked the map and it would be a 1-1/2  hours + by mostly  I-94  Thumbsdown or pushing 3 hours by two lane state roads and stuff.   I may try to make it but it could be a long cold ride with out plug ins.

I have been wanting to grab Ted's tag too but time, distance, and weather keeps me home these past few weeks.  I have a really cool tag I want to post before somebody else knows of it and gets there first.
