Damn this crappy weather thou! Dealership is 2 hours away and with my new job I cannot get there during the week.  So wouldn't you know every weekend since all the "t's" have been crossed and "i's" have been dotted the weather has sucked!!!

The plan was to pick it up yesterday.  They were calling for rain but that's no big deal. Loaded up the family and off the the dealer we went. One hour and 20 minutes into the trip it starts to snow. Then all hell broke loose. I'm thinking, I thought they were only calling for a 30% chance of RAIN!!!!!!  >Sad

Oh well. It's on hold for another week. No more chances though. I'm taking my father-in-law's truck and trailer next trip.

Here she is a 2008 Aprilia Tuono with 4300 miles on it.

I've always loved the looks of that particular bike. Thumbsup Thumbsup

Just curious: it seems de rigueur these days to 'chop' the exhaust can. What does that do to the sound and timbre?

It actually sounds good. It's still baffled so it's not much louder than stock. Just looking at the stats, it does shave some pounds over stock. I'm actually glad it came with a carbon fiber exhaust since I'm partial to them.

Keystonejenks is back with Italian style!!   Bigok

Great to have you back on the interweb.  And the Tuono is a great choice.   Thumbsup Thumbsup Thumbsup

I have had zero issues with mine, although I've only 24,000 miles on it.

So, big  Beerchug

Looks stock except for the MIVV cans and the clear signals?

Yeah but that style of Tuono is what first caught my eye. I always regret not buying one new. Especially considering I bought that damn Multistrada instead.  Crazy

I am new here and am in search of my next bike. Please give me in particular but everyone in general, an update on your bike of choice last purchased. The Tuono.

How do you like it today?
Are you glad you bought it?
What kind of mpg you getting? Regular or premium fuel?
How does it handle? How many miles you put on it?
What have you change or do you want to change if affordable to do so?
Would you recommend I buy one or look at something else?

Thank you in advance, I know for a "new guy here", I am asking a lot!
I just don't know what I want to buy yet and am trying to narrow my wide range of interesting bikes.

Ride safe and enjoy... MorrisGray / Rock Spring, GA
