Good morning Region 4

Link to Details

http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dc35w8d2_29g2g755

Please note that while I have provided lists of all the targets, they are there only as a last resort.  I am sure that you will be able to retrieve the location from easier sources.

Remember this is just for fun....

Good Luck Be Safe and Make the most of this.

Good morning ALERT RIDER

Your task today if you choose to accept it (at your own risk and expense) is as follows.

This task is meant to challenge your map and routing skills and once riding your time management skill as well.

American

Legion’s

Everywhere

Rally

Tour

Plot a course between your house and the pizza meet that will include as many American Legion Posts as you safely can get in.

Like the title says they are everywhere….

The idea is to stop and take a photo of your team, make sure to rotate the picture taker, but designate one team camera…. Self timer, Tripod or Gorilla grip will help with this. Short video clips are ok as well.

Try to be creative and or funny.

Teams receive one point for each American Legion reached and photographed with bikes, Team Members and the sign/building identifying where you are at.

Please make a log entry for each stop. Here is a simple log sheet, or create your own.

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pYIa3Q9m6AB0IohP-1pa3ZQ

NOTE: VFW posts are not the same and do not count for this event

Bonus points are available, so be friendly and go inside to say hello. Being a Sunday you never know what or who you will find.

Team shot in front of Legions artillery or military machinery 1 extra point

Team shot with Legion Member in Full uniform 3 points

Team shot with Legion member in Hat or Vest 1 points

Team shot with full Legion Color Guard 5 points

We are all alone in this nobody at any American Legion Post or places will have any idea of what is going on.

Watch your time so you arrive at by 4:00 pm

Zumpano's (formally Pizza De Roma)
(262) 767-0581
180 E Chestnut St, Burlington, WI

Remember..... Meeting up by 4:00 pm, one half point lost for each five minutes you are late.

I have pulled from the American Legion Web Site lists of the locations. I make no claim as to the accuracy of these lists. Feel free to use other sources for your routing, there is nothing that will be considered cheating unless you are not getting from place to place on your motorcycle. (I suspect someone in the group may have access to a helicopter; that would be cheating)

I made an account and got into the spreadsheet to find out that most of the targets have a P.O. Box for an address.  That means I'll have to google each of them to find out where they are.  Way too much effort for a Sunday.  See everyone at pizza.

Hint if you go to google maps and type in American Legion you get a map with more than you will ever be able to visit...

I wonder how many parents walked into this new Mcd's and told them "My kids won't come in because they're afraid of the baby Ronald".  Lol
