I wore out the soles on a pair of relatively inexpensive Triumph branded boots with molded soles.  I like the boots and the uppers are in good shape so I contacted Resole America in the off chance they could resole them.  No problem they say.

Long story short, for $60 plus $18 for a round trip ride with Brown they replaced the thin, molded factory sole with a nice solid rubber SIDI piece.  By outward appearances the install was done well.  I had considerable problems with the factory adhesive and was periodically re-adhering the sole to the bottom.  Time will tell how durable they will be.

The product is good but the cust service leaves a bit to be desired.  They advertise 8-10 business day turn around.  It took about 18.  Not terrible if they'd bother responding to email inquiries requesting an order status.  I'd do it again.

Cool. I have an old pair of Teknic Violators in good shape, aside from the soles. I might have a look at this.

I had a local guy in Monroe NY resole my boots a few years ago. Mine were not worn I just wanted to add some rubber to make reaching the ground easier.

Thanks.  I'll be sending them my Sidi On Roads for resoling.  The local cobbler wanted $120.  Resole America for $60 + shipping sound better to me.

Well I've started a resole project with my local cobbler today. Let's see how this goes. I provided the new soles. I probably let this pair of boots go too long but they're willing to give it a shot.

I used them to resole some Aslo goretex hiking boots and they look as good as new. I discussed the process and they completely remove the old and apply the new factory supplied sole using the factory approved process. Mine were $79.00 including return shipping. New replacement boots would have cost $195.00.

That is a great find for molded sole replacement. I know that many people have great comfortable boots that they love, that have worn out molded soles.

Wow that is a very expensive re-sole for the Sidi boots. The Sidi On Road Sympatex boots have a standard sole which makes re-soling even easier. Had my Sidi On Roads done locally for $60.00. I have no knowledge of the newer Sidi On Road Goretex boot re-sole.
