You poor, poor man! No wonder you still have your girlish figure
If that post wasn't a troll for an invitation to dinner, girls, I don't know
what
you were thinking...
Tonight is homemade chicken parmesan, but it's 17:15, and I still don't smell tasty aromas

For my next trick, I'll post my Potato/Macaroni Salad Of Doom recipe.
I warned you. I'm going to post this in three parts. The first part is tolerable by pretty much anyone. The second is pretty damn spicy. The third should be kept away from small children, pets and anyone who values their intestinal tract.
For Macaroni Salad, boil some macaroni. Traditional elbow, rotini, whatever you fancy in your salad. Cook it until it's just past
al dente
.
For Potato Salad, boil two pounds of New Potatoes until they're not quite cooked through. Drain them and cut them into 1/2" cubes.
Now, the recipe:
Part One: Yum!
Strain one can of sweet peas.
Dice 3-4 stalks of celery.
Dice 1/2 cup white or yellow onion.
Shred 1-2 carrots.
Mince 1-2 cloves of garlic.
Take two heads (yes,
heads
) of fresh garlic. Cut the tops off to expose the cloves. Drizzle them with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Wrap them in aluminum foil and broil them for about one hour or until thoroughly roasted. If they're turning black, they're more than done.
Break out your blender and add 1 1/2 cups of mayonnaise(Miracle Whip is evil, and if you use it, you're going to hell). Squeeze the roasted garlic into the blender, add the minced garlic, 1/2 tsp garlic salt and salt and black pepper to taste. Blend thoroughly.
Mix the rest of the ingredients, including the potatoes/macaroni, in a large bowl. Add the mayo/garlic mixture slowly while mixing. Now you have a great salad for pretty much anyone.
Part Two: Damn, that's got some kick!
Strain one can of sweet peas.
Dice 3-4 stalks of celery.
Dice 1/2 cup white or yellow onion.
Shred 1-2 carrots.
Mince 1-2 cloves of garlic.
Take
three
heads of fresh garlic.
Squeeze the roasted garlic into the blender, add the minced garlic, 1 1/2 tbsp curry powder, 1/2 tsp garlic salt, one tsp of your favorite hot sauce, salt and black pepper to taste. Blend thoroughly.
Mix the rest of the ingredients, including the potatoes/macaroni, in a large bowl. Add the mayo/garlic mixture slowly while mixing. Now you have a great salad for anyone who enjoys an authoritative kick.
Part Three:
AAAAIIIIIGGGHH!!!
Strain one can of sweet peas.
Dice 3-4 stalks of celery.
Dice 1/2 cup white or yellow onion.
Dice 1-2 habanero peppers. Use caution.
Shred 1-2 carrots.
Mince 1-2 cloves of garlic.
Take
three
heads of fresh garlic.
Squeeze the roasted garlic into the blender, add the minced garlic, 3 tbsp curry powder, 1/2 tsp garlic salt, one tbsp of the hottest sauce you can find, and salt and black pepper to taste. Blend thoroughly.
Mix the rest of the ingredients, including the potatoes/macaroni, in a large bowl. Add the mayo/garlic mixture slowly while mixing. Now you have a great salad for anyone with a death wish.

Tonight, once my sister returns from her Sigma Alpha Iota whatever-it-is, we'll take a family excursion to our favorite cheap Thai spot in Oak Park. Their Panang curry is soooo good I drink the broth down afterwards. That, a Thai iced tea and some crab Rangoon and I'll be a happy person inside. Munchkin may get Lard Na or Pad Thai, depending on her mood. Considering her attitude towards broccoli lately, I'mma guess tofu Pad Thai.

That is a pic of my Reynolds double (F/B-flat) horn. I started playing about 13 or 14 years ago, and I've had my horn for about 7 years. Unfortunately, I've been neglecting it recently, but I decided that if I was going to take my username from it, I should have a pic as my avatar. (The 439 in my username stands for 4th horn part, 3rd movement of Beethoven's 9th... I don't know how familiar you are with horns/that part, but I actually got to play it and
thinking about it still makes my heart race!)

Now, can one
really
initiate a "search" for such a passage, or could you play it and post it as an .mp3 or somesuch...see, it doesn't exist without a (sound) picture

That is a gorgeous and famous solo, one of the rare 4th horn solos in the literature--and in concert Cb major.
I know that there has been some discussion as to whether it was first performed on one of the very early valved horns.
I've never had a crack at playing the Ninth, alas. My guess is that if I ever do, it'll be in the fourth movement only. That, and my username, should clue you into what I play.

Well, as much as many people here may appreciate it, I am not going to post pics here of me in my underwear to tempt you
If you'd prefer it, though, I could post pics of everything that's gone rotten because you haven't come over to help me eat all the food I make.

I would be more than happy to post the track for our performance of the 3rd movement, but I can't figure out how... I can't as an attachment because the file is (a) too big and (b) none of the allowed file types are sound files.

Then in the interests of being mean I'll tell you that I had home made ravioli with a nice bottle of Beaujolais followed by a selection of cheese
However tomorrow is likely to be cereal since I just ate and drank the rest of the food I have in the house
