When the wife gets home from work, we're heading out. Probably the steak house. Maybe Hibachi. I've been doing manual labor all day. I'm tired and sore and I want a real meal!!

Family sent us a couple of boxes of Allen Brothers beef tenderloins  (aka filets).  We're havin' STEAK!!

I'd say they are better than Omahas, but not as good as the real deal at Mortons/etc.  Better than you'll typically find at the grocery.

Chicago has some really incredible places to have a steak, so I admit to being spoiled. Still, they're pretty darned good for frozen steaks packed in plastic and dry ice.

Received a package of 30 IOWA tenderloins in the mail from a friend.  Today we will be deep fat frying some of these babies.
