Being new, I haven't attended a National meet. I did attend the Region 2 meet in Silver City, NM in 2009 as a lurker. Went down with a couple of buddies and VIVID1 from Colorado.

That would be Against the Wind's Redbird, in front of Colleen's late lamented GS, and beside my ZZR on the far right. (That's Richard in the beige shirt behind and to the right of the GS, and me holding up the pole beside him, and Basco to my right ).
I still can't believe how well that bike went south with a "2-4" up high in that GIVI!!
Yeah, WV was epic.  

I'm to the right of Basco.  That was my first national meet. What a great time.

I have had a blast at the meets that were packed and at the meets where there were just a few. It has been a riot and a pleasure to hang out and ride with you nut jobs over the years.
