Title: WeSTOC XXV - August 24-27, 2020 : Park City, Utah
Post by: Nevada on February 11, 2020, 12:15:23 am
t is my pleasure to invite one and all to the Silver Jubilee of WeSTOC, the annual confab that brings together some of the finest sport touring riding and riders in North America. Returning to its birthplace for the very first time, you will experience fantastic riding in the Wasatch and Uintah Mountains of Utah. The roads range from the first gear switchbacks of the Alpine Loop to the high speed Interstate sweepers of Parley's Canyon, and everything a rider might desire in between, you'll find it at WeSTOC.

The host city is known worldwide as a premier ski destination, resulting in an abundance of fine food and yes, fine drink for WeSTOC attendees to enjoy.

***************************************************************************

If you sport-tour, then you want to make this ride.  Open to all marquees, you can ride some of the finest riding in the world, and then enjoy some of the finest conversation, food and drink in the West.

It should be safe.  My work PC didn't have an issue across the IT backbone.

I'll be there if nothing comes up.  Sounds interesting.

I was looking for this thread on the .ORG and thought this would be under a regional sub-forum.

Booked.  I'm up to sharing the room, but the way the hotel is doing the group deal, I should be getting a double Queen...so spare bed to share.

Booked! The website showed no rooms available but there were plenty when I called. Iíve never been to one of these or to Park City in the summer - interesting area but probably hotter than the hammers of Hell.

Sounds very appealing. Gonna have to check this out.

Would probably be on a blasphemous FJR, though.   :D

Those don't look like Honda ST1300s.  :p

If I ever win the lottery, I won't go crazy spending. I'll just do rides like this all the time.

If I win the lottery I will have a 6000 acre ranch in Texas paid for in cash and I will invest the rest and then build dual sport trails and mountain bike trails and some type of easier motocross track (for old folk) on the land.    Outside of family and friends no one would see me again.  Iíd stay on the ranch till god decides I have had enough  :bigok:

Weíre you booking the exact dates or extra days?  When I called to book a Sunday arrival, they had to mod the system to create an opening online because the dates of the event are claimed.

Nothing blasphemous about it.  heck, I had a Yamaha LONG before I ever had a Honda, heck, before I even rode motorcycles.  Well, perhaps a Yamaha trombone would be blat-phemous.

Check it out, register, ride.  You won't regret it.

Yeah...they pointed that out in an e-mail response.  Thing is, if you mouse over, you get a drop down, so I thought the top item was a category header and not a button.
