My five year-old grandson is now riding without training wheels.  :bigok:

My daughter, when she was five or six, begged me every day for a new bicycle. She was a cute little blonde girl and I remembered when my brother and I learned how to ride bikes!! After many bumps and bruises we learned how. I didn't want my little girl to go through that. One of her little friends came over to play with her. I went out to check on them after five minutes to see my daughter on her friend's bike. Just as I opened my mouth to scream my daughter just went on her way peddling like a champ!!

For the record, he is riding his motorcycle without training wheels.

                  WOW! Good for him. The next Jeremy McGraff!

Remember the original "On Any Sunday"? The beginning of the movie has a little guy, five or six?, doing a wheelie all the way down a street. That was Jeff Ward!

The kid has an unfair advantage. He obviously has a head start over most other kids because of motorcycle skill genetics.   :bigok:

Maybe. Mom, Dad, both grandfathers, and a bunch of uncles all were motocross and off-road racers. He's a fairly timid kid for now, so it may not be the best sport for him. I've also talked to his dad (my son-in-law) about maybe getting him in a quarter-midget. I did that for a few years as a kid. I also know the president of the local quarter-midget club well. They have a loaner/beginner program with two cars available. He said my grandson could have one of those spots, if we wanted to give it a try.

When they're younger they bounce good. Good learning experience and it will make him tougher.

My daughter Kendall sent me a video today. They've got my three year-old grandson riding the four-wheeler now. My son-in-law is working from home now. This is what happens... ;)

Saturday I was out on my WR. Had to pull some broken twigs and leaves out of the handguards cause I was looking at the branches sticking out next to the trail instead of where I needed to go.

Bet your grandson is very soon a better trail rider than me, maybe already.

Daughter said they have a little hump on the edge of their driveway that he kept riding over. Apparently one time over, he lost it.
