They all look so similar to me. The Suzuki and Kawi have reticules huge exhaust that I don't like. But out of the choices I would perfer the Yamaha.

What about Ducati, BMW, Aprilia, or even the Buell. My next bike will probably be the 1125R Buell. I don't want to hear it, I like it.

I'm glad most of them have gotten over the under seat exhaust phase.

Although, The MV Agusta is probably still the sexiest beast.

Once again.     Where's the "other" button???!!!

What about..
Bimota?
Benelli??
Aprilia??
MV Agusta??
BMW??
Ducati??
Triumph??

Personally, I think representatives from any of these manufacturers are better looking "liter" bikes than the options you gave.

As far as I'm concerned, none of the bikes pictured warrant a second glance.

  However, KTM's RC8 could stop a clock.

You are correct sir.  I didn't include them because I wanted know what people thought of the styling of the Japanese bikes.  I should have called the poll "Best looking of the ugly Japanese liter bikes".

I just realized that I can change the title of the thread.  It has been changed to better reflect the options.

The R1 looks rather beefy compared to the others.  I'm sure it's an optical delusion due to the underseat exhaust.  I like it...

They all look exactly the same.

Thanks for the fix, but I still don't like any of them...

Like the R1, but like my 05 better.  :inlove:

None of the latest Japanese liter bikes is interesting to me visually.

2004 R1?  Beautiful.  2003 R1?  One of the best looking bikes ever made.   :inlove:  2003 GSXR 1000?  Good looker and understated, even.

But the latest crop looks pretty mediocre.  Don't get me wrong, they are flyers and they aren't plain when you're riding them!      :inlove:

Maybe if you're mentally challenged. But we already knew that.

CBR1000RR gets my vote.  You should have shown the R1 from the front, I bet less people would have chosen it then.

i vote Suzuki. the Honda looks like it rain into a wall with that flat nose, the R1 - hate the headlights and womanly exhaust, the Kawi - hate the front end. but i agree about the 04 R1's  LOVE THE LOOKS!!

Repsol is my favorite. Then probably the yellow R1. Suzuki needs to seriously think about painting their GSXR something other than white/blue/red. At least offer something that looks cool.

And black doesn't count. Not very creative.

Aside from the hideous exhaust can that would be replaced before leaving the showroom, I like the Kawi the best.

I like what I bought, not just the conservative styling but the fact it is the lightest and very easy to ride. I also rode a MV F4 and it is a beautiful machine, but I would be scared to damage it. I think the CBR 1000 handles better than the MV anyway.

New here to your site! I too bought the CBR1000RR! What a machine. The Pug nose actually throws the air much higher and does not affect you the same way as a pointed front end. At 50 I have to do some streaches before getting on her but she is a blast!

The Hondas and Yamahas have looked pretty good in past years but I don't think any of them are particularly attractive this year. I'm looking for a 'none of the above' button.

Some of the 600s are damn sexy though.

It is not "which one to I like the most", but more "which one do I dislike the least." The CBR, GSXR, and ZX10R all have some god-awful exhausts that from this view truly ruin the whole bike. As someone previously stated the '03-'04 GSXRs and R1s were truly handsome machines, and represented the breed well, but the new ones? :hurl:

I have an '09 CBR1000RR.  Mine is White which I personally think brings out the best of the CBR's styling. I cleaned up the styling a little more by removing the passenger pegs and replacing the pillion with a cowl.  I just don't get the R1. To me it's just ugly!  The once great looking Kawasakis and Suzukis in years past are now, well, ugly too.
Since we are not talking about handling, performance, etc., I won't get into the CBR's great ergonomics, handling and its wonderful linear power delivery.  (except for a crappy flat spot at 4,500 r.p.m.)

I am looking at getting a second bike in the next few months. I'm getting shoulder surgery Jun 1st, so this should put me off to some time in late August. I like the way the 08' GSX-R 1000 White/Silver bike looks. My current lineup of bike choices are : R1 Black/Red (the pic above), CBR1000RR Repsol (prices are coming down on these), and the 08' GSX-R 1000 White/Silver.

All three bikes completely rock; so, it will probably be which is the best deal I can get.

I have to agree with the person who posted that the 600s are looking good. There are some really nice paint jobs on those right now. They should pass that up to the 1000s. I'm not sure why they offer the Monster Energy graphics on the ZX-14 and the ZX-6 but not the ZX-10.

I agree (Except for the Buell part ).  They are really starting to look a lot alike.  A few years ago, they each had their own look.

IMO, they are all uglier now than in previous years.

But if I had to choose in stock trim I would say it's a tossup between CBR and R1.  The stock Gixxer exhaust is more fail than the other exhausts.

Aside from the Japaneese in the titl, I might suggest this...

For the price of the R model, I'd rather have a boat, car, and a motorcycle. It is a nice bike though...

The best looking Italian machine. It's a great ride too!

2004 R1 in red. :inlove:
Skip's right... all have gotten uglier. The first-gen ZX-10Rs were nice, too.

Poll needs another option:

"Any one that doesn't look like an alien bug that will eat our souls and enslave humanity"
