Hey all, just found this site whilst looking for farkles for my 08 Feej.

Looks like a great spot to hang and learn a few things about S-T and bikes in general.

This is my umpteenth bike, and I have liked each one more than the last.

I ended up with the FJR after a bruising 4 day cruise through the UP in Michigan left me nearly crippled on my M109R.  Just a terrible riding position for a shorter fella like myself.

I loved the grunt of the big V-twin, but I can still get my ya-ya's out no probs on the FJR too, and do it all week without getting sore and tired.

Anywho, glad to be aboard!

Cheers!

Randy.

Hello S-T.n!

I recently purchased a 1994 CB1000 , but it's sort of a cult classic so the forums are sparse to non-existent. So, here I am and I look forward to learning whatever I can about Sport/Touring riding here at S-T.n!

Hey,

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's. I've been riding something with a engine for about 47+ years. I was lucky enough to find a partner that enjoys riding as much, if not more than I do.

Current Stable includes
2003 Aprilia RST1000 Futura
2004 Aprilia Tuono (Jeanne's Bike)
2001 Honda RC51
2002 Suzuki SV650
1991 Ducati 851 Superbike
2009 Aprilia SR50

Just moved to the Foothills of California for the curves, and the Grandkids are close by. Mostly for the curves.

I tend to be more of an observer in these types of environments, so carry on.

Thanks very much,

Mike Gallagher

I'm a trifecta winner too! But I'm not a Dad (or a Mom, for that matter), so I'll just mosey on along....  couch

Just joined the forum. Not sure where to put this, but wanted to say HI!

Started riding in 1967 on a Honda 160 at the age of 14. After a crash few years later my parents insisted no more motorcycles. But while in graduate school in 1990 I bought a Kawasaki Gpz 550. Had until graduating. So the next gap ended in 2011 with a Kawasaki EX500. My wife began to ride with me (small bike for that) and we attended the last MotoGP in Indianapolis, rode to Washington Island, WI, and later made a trip to Galena, IL.

Now firmly committed, we purchases a 2006 Triumph Sprint ST two weeks ago, making a trip to Milwaukee last weekend.

Have some questions of course and would like to meet other people that share this interest.

Best regards, Rudy and Chris

Hello-

I just found this forum and joined.
I ride a 2014 Kawasaki Concours that I've owned for about two weeks now.
I'm new to Sport Touring but have many miles of riding around with my feet out in front of me on American V-Twins.

Nice choice of bike!  Bigok

If you fill out your profile to include your location, it might come in handy with future posts. Plus, it is always fun to know where some is - gives one a sense of "place" when they talk about their rides  Thumbsup
