Oh you are so right!! I love my VFR.
I am new to the board, having been directed to this site by a fellow motorcyclist.  (Thanks BW!)
I'm in the San Gabriel Mountains of So Cal, with miles and miles of great twisty roads from my driveway!
I really am impressed with everything I've been seeing so far on this board.  You guys (and ladies) are all great!
I so look forward to getting in on the rides.  I love to ride and have been going alone for some time now and will love the opportunity to share the adventures with other lovers of motorcycles.

Head on over to the Region 1 forum.  There are rides posted in SoCal reasonably frequently.  In fact, there's one this saturday.

Hi everyone.  I've been lurking around here for a while and finally got around to registering.  My name is Greg and I ride a 2006 Aprilia Caponord.  I live near Belair, MD which is northeast of Baltimore.  I like just about any kind of riding, which is why I picked the Capo, it's a nice all around bike.

I suppose I should post something. I thought I was a member a while ago, but somehow couldn't figure out what username password I used. Doesn't much matter as I tend to lurk.

I'm in my 31st yr. of riding and have sport toured for most of that time. Ridden pretty much all over the country excepting the Pacific Northwest, and tend to sport tour sportbikes. Every year I do at least one 600+ mi. day on my Duc 916.

I'm an active HSTA member and currently serve as the co-state director for the Minnesota group, http://www.mn-hsta.org. Anyone and everyone in the area around the Twin Cities or western Wisconsin should check out our rides.

I'm also the co-organizer for TWiSTAR, an HSTA AMA sanctioned ride in its 15th year, May 16-18, Spring Green, WI, http://www.hstatwistar.info.
This event is a bunch of fun!

Welcome, Ray!

Gotta say, TWiSTAR is a kickass ride... not that I made it to one of the events, but I got a hand-me-down route map or two, and it was a wonderful romp through Wisconsin's finest.  Thumbsup

Hope to see you around at one of our Region 4 coffee meets.

It'd sure be nice if I could make a coffee meet, but kitchen passes are few and far between for me, so when I get them, it's time to ride! I'll definitely try though.

Thanks for the compliment on TWiSTAR. The co-organizer routes it. He lives in Spring Green and he really knows the best roads to ride. Probably equally importantly he makes sure the route is ridable ride up until the day of the event. There always seems to be a new road closure the week before the event that causes us to change the route.

This year it is $25 for a Friday evening burger and dog grill, Saturday evening Prime Rib buffet banquet and raffle drawing, and for new members, registration includes a year membership in the HSTA!

Daily use, of course.

I find it more effective than a custom seat. And it adds 17hp to my motorcycle.

But Technetium has figured out exactly what it is....

Now Bubba, how did you know that I prefer my left hand, have you been watching, again?

Hi Everyone,
My name is Pete and I live in Peoria, AZ. I've been riding both dirt and street bikes for many years. I just replaced my 06 H-D Night Rod with a new 08 Buell Ullysses and I'm looking forward to trying it out. Unfortunately I just messed up my ankle in a dirt bike accident so I won't be riding for awhile Sad But at least I have something to look forward to. See you on the road!

Thanks.
