Well, have I noticed a lot of new bodies from the warmer climactic regions of the US of A or what?  Why aren't you fellers off riding or punchin' doogies or something in the glorious sunshine.  I actually hale from the sunny side of WA state, but it's like 9 degrees out in the sunshine today.  I bet your riding weather is better.

I thought I'd jump in and give you, jaboyak, and you, Yuma, and you, minGreen, a proper and respectful greeting to the hallowed halls of ST.N.  There've been a few changes as of late, but the site is back, graphically rich and full of the wonderful information about motorcycling that only an opinion-led forum can deliver.  Check it all out.  But be careful.  There's a lot of naughty stuff said in the Dungeon.  I, myself, one of the most respected and knowledgeable members here, lost my wits a while back and posted drival in a thread.  Once.  While I was under a lot of pressure. When I was enebriated.  And people were whining. But I'm better now and gosh, I've talked too much.

Just don't listen to jed or ATW.

Longtime lurker (relatively) first time poster.
I'm ronbo (Ron) newly transplanted from the loverly San Francisco Bay Area to the greater Seattle/Tacoma metroplex (teeny tiny Lakebay, FTW).
Here a few of my favorite things:

recently added the hard bags to the VFR:

at the Racetrack Playa in Death Valley

Besides an unhealthy obsession with motorbikes, I spend far too much time playing World of Warcraft (Tauren Druid, For the Horde!), reading comic books and watching movies and live music.

I also just got my hands on a Wii (not quite as dirty as it sounds, also 2nd to last one in the Gig Harbor Target if anyone's looking) and have spent way too much time playing Zelda, Twilight Princess.

Mama always said, 'It's never too late to have a happy childhood.'

I look forward to the nurturing of my M/C addiction here at S-T.N.

Welcome to frozen Seattle!  Really, it never snows here.  Rolleyes

Feel free to be nurtured at one of our copious PNW gathering, the next to be on the 20th (movies at my place) and the 21st (a ride... somewhere). Region 1 is the place to be! Banana

Another new member here.  Located in Juniata, Nebraska.

I ride a 2003 Hayabusa.  It has just under 23,000 miles on it right now.  It has just a few simple modification, and nothing too wild.  Carbon fiber exhaust, HID headlight, and a Wolo air horn are just a few of my favorite mods I've done.

I spend most of my online time over on sportbikes.net where I am a Super Moderator.  I've been involved in sportbikes for quite a few years now.

I made my way over here because I keep thinking of doing an Iron Butt ride this spring or summer and figured I'd be able to pick up some great information from the people on this site.  At first I thought about doing just the SaddleSore1000, but I'm pretty sure I've got myself talked into doing the SaddleSore1000 and the BunBurner1500 together.

Here's a couple pics from one of the few rides I've done to Colorado.

Hi,

I'm pretty new here as well (intro above).  Love the 'busa but can't afford the dozens of tires per year I would use on one.  I've also thought about doing a SS1000 before, but living in the number 1 deer strike state of the union, I am hesitant to ride after dark anymore (too many close calls).  Hope you have fun if you do the BB Gold.

Hello to all
New boy in the play ground
I live in NH I have been riding since 1967, have had many bikes. I would have to sit and think awhile about how many it has been.
I have built and wrenched on many a bike, and I tend to buy used, and restore or improve them.
I recently restored a Yamaha GTS 1000, this is my current ride. I also own a 1984 Honda Interseptor that I bought new in 1985, and it is modified with some rare parts indeed, quite custom to say the least.
Any other GTSER'S out there????

Hey MrWog,

We have some other GTS fans here, the most notorious being GTS_Rider from SoCal. Love to see some pics of your GTS over at our ST.N Yamaha Forum.

I'm guessing you're the same MrWog who buit a gorgeous ZRX1200 a few years back. Still building custom seats?

You'd think with the outlawed initiation rituals and now frowned upon secret handshakes, that there would be a new openess on our little forum.  Now we have people making custom seats that only select people know about and riding bikes with strange and confusing front suspensions.  But I harbor no ill will, my friend, so welcome aboard, Mrwog.  Enjoy.

But I'm keeping my eye on you.

Welcome Justin, Against the Wind and Dogboy.  Ohh, wait a minute.  The last two have been here awhile.  Sorry, sometimes my memory is a bit cloudy.  But welcome all anyway.
