Ultras feel more cramped to me. If you're tall you may find yourself pushed forward on the nose of the seat. Wind protection is much better in the ultra, and heat becomes and issue with the fairing lowers in place in the summer. It can be quite punishing in the southwest. Road King looks better. Ultra has far superior luggage and passenger accommodations. Radio if you want it, GPS, doodads.
The new RKs are pretty dang sexy with the new aluminum wheels, IMO.

I ride a 110th Anv Limited. I live in Coastal Alaska, spend a lot of time in the Interior as well as Western Canada so I spend a lot of time in less than perfect weather. I often think I would switch to a Road King if I lived in an area with better weather but then face the fact I am spoiled by the weather protection as well as all the creature comforts. BTW I am 6 ft tall and for me Highway Pegs are needed on this bike as I find it a bit cramped.
