My opinion having actually owned several (7) Harleys is the Extended warranty cost far more than you will ever need in warranty work.
No it's not worth it!

I have a friend at work that just grenaded his motor with 98k miles. The extended warranty got him a new motor. It's insurance. You probably won't need it, but what if you do?

My take on extended warranties is this; if they were going to lose money on it, they wouldn't offer it.
