Wow.... Im really late on this thread. Currently on my 2nd KTM.
This pic is of my 2008 SuperDuke purchased new in 2011.
I got a great deal! $8600 dollars with a full warranty. It has a speedo issue and it was rectified in the 10th month. Otherwise, it has been amazing.
I installed a set of MIVV Suono Carbons and dialed it in with the PCIII and O2 Sensor mod. The bike transformed into a monsters monster!
I also took this bike on a 21 day tour through Canada last year. 19 of the days was in rain and snow. Lots of camping. Lots of luxury hotels. Lots of road food. Great times! Rode roughly 3400 miles total.

It took some work to get out of the States. Lots of rains. Stranded me in places that I didnt want to be stranded in. But eventually I made it north.
Small towns are great. People are friendly and they just want to meet you..

Should I just do a ride report on this trip?
Lots of stories and memories.

Looking at your luggage setup, does the Rotapak replace the rear seat somehow?

No, it just sits on top of the rear section of the seat. It's only 1 gallon. But it would give me up to 35 miles if necessary. The Kriega Bags are strapped on top of the Rotopax. And on top of that was my tent bag and rain jacket. On the tank is a KTM tankbag wrapped with a KTM enduro tool belt.

You should do a Ride Report and a set up report.

I already started one. About two weeks late on updates.
