It is my recollection that the "official" Griso video has got to be about, at a minimum, 8 years old. Anybody? Oh by the way green and brown is the best color combination, should I ever be so fortunate to find myself on the position to buy one.

It's Moto Guzzi...why mess with a good thing?
(ok, the music is pretty sucky...lol)
I too lusted for a Griso, but I found my V11 LeMans instead, and after getting my Stelvio, I found I prefer the old 2v engine warmed up a bit over the 4valve. I still wouldn't mind a 2 valve Griso, but I don't think it would get ridden much considering my current rides. The Griso is a sexy bike though!

Just to clarify. You are saying you prefer the V11 to the Stelvio because you like the 2VPC motor, (And nothing wrong with that.) it's just that your message could suggest that you have a 2VPC Stelvio and no such beast was ever made.
Pete.

Yes, I am saying I prefer the 2 valve in my 03 LeMans (power commander, K&N, factory titanium exhaust) over the 4 valve (8 valves total!) in my `11 Stelvio. Nothing wrong with the 4 valver, and the Stelvio is definitely not slow, but it's almost too smooth and Honda-like
I think I would prefer the simplicity and the feel of the 2 valve Griso, and for me slower is probably safer for my license. If I hadn't found my Stelvio I would be probably be riding an 8v Griso and would be happy with it.
