Gotta agree.  Not sure what a lawn mower has to do with "The Open Road", unless it is a mow-torcycle.  A guitar would be great in the thread... if it is strapped to the side of a motorcycle.

I too have been guilty of pimping this thread, so to make amends... here is my latest acquisition for the Open Road:

$35 from Amazon and road-tested on a 4-day ride to the Ozarks this past weekend.  Made even a 14hr day, mid-90's at time, tolerable.  Works best when it hugs your torso tight and under mesh gear.

Yeah but it's in General Sport Touring Discussion so my worthless opinion is that it should be motorcycle-related. Other purchases need to be in Off-Topic....

39L top case. I've been riding over 40 years and this is the first top case I've ever had. As a matter of fact, this is the first bike I've ever had with hard side cases.

The stickers are off now. As far as other people over the loud paint goes, I don't really have much they would want to hear anyway... Lol

Been on a roll the last few weeks. Bought a new helmet (Scorpion EXO-T1200), a new car (Mazda CX-5), a new bass guitar (Ibanez SR405), and an almost new bass amp (GK MB115).

The new helmet is OK. It's noisy and doesn't vent as well as the hype would have you believe, otherwise, it's a helmet. Price was awesome ($199 normally $325). Don't think I could justify the extra $300+ for Shoei GT Air even it is better. I do like the Air Fit system that lets you adjust cheek pad fit.

I think I'm done stimulating the economy for a while...

Continental Road Attack 2, front and rear.

Several minutes after installation I learned there is a new Evo version, that's meant to last way longer

A new leftover 2015 Versys 650.  My mistake; will be trading it back soon.  May be joining FJRider instead.

I added a top case to my GS a few years ago and never take it off. I ride more with the side cases off now.

Who makes your side cases?   They look like the ones on my Ducati.
