Ouch. I feel attacked or in today's parlance maybe even "triggered."  

Not really. I love the good natured ribbing that goes on.  I have been in a corporate setting since retiring from the Air Force so motorycle culture / motorcyclist banter keeps me sane.

Almost everything else is way too "PC"

Now, where's that nearest Starbucks ?

OK, here's some pie of the humble kind...  My lovely wife informed me last night that she has been buying Pikes Place dark roast Starbucks coffee, for our coffee maker, and she is changing over to Starbucks dark French Roast, which I had mentioned I liked better without knowing the brand she was getting. As soon as she would open the package, she would transfer it to a container specially made for ground coffee.

So, I sold my GS and then found out I had been drinking Starbucks coffee!  

What will I do now that I ride a Tenere?

I ride a VStrom so it's Pearl or Lonestar for me. (The BMW brings me back up to Craft Beer - or at least German Beer - level)

Just ordered a Kodak Slide & Scan to convert my hundreds (or thousands) of 35mm slides into high def digital photos.

When I was into film photography I almost always used Kodachrome film. I also inherited all of the Kodachrome slides my Dad took during our four years in Japan from 1958-1962. This will be a good retirement gig.

When working at Tinker AFB in the 70s, The department got a digital camera, photoshop, and a slide/print scanner. Total cost at the time $26,000.00+.

Now you can do 99% of that with your cell phone.

2 liter gas container to carry with my MT07.  The peanut gas tank of 3.2 gallons gives me 125-150 miles without going into a gas panic.  I am hoping another 25-30 miles will let me continue more back road exploring without breaking off to find gas as often.  Like the MT07 for short day rides, but sure wish it held more like 4 gallons.

Aside from some new gear, because I am in fact a gear whore, my wife got back on a bike after several years of not riding. I'm so excited to have her back!

Picked up a 2018 BMW G310R with 800 miles on it. It was a demo bike and used at a local riding school for a while, so it has nearly a full factory warranty even. Been a while since I rode a small cc bike, but this thing is a hoot!
