This will be my 6th time at the Oregon Trail and I have never had a concern. The place is clean, as is the linen and I have seen no evidence of bed bugs - and I look for evidence of BB everywhere I stay. Make no mistake, it is a 2 star accommodation, but a clean one.  Thumbsup

And I think motels like this, are perfect for chatting after a ride.

Thanks to Bubba and UHOH for allaying any reservations I may have had as regards the bed bugs. Looking forward to enjoying the charms of the Oregon Trail. There is something about the lower priced, family run motels that is part of a classic road trip.

Is there a Saturday ride up Joseph way...the long way, east of Halfway and winding around N past the W side view of the Canyon?  Forest road 39 and 3920 I think.  It's been awhile and I've always been going the other way.
