Three minute gap there. Something must have interrupted my concentration!!

I'm at my daughter's/grandkids home today for her birthday. I have called her old a couple of times. I guess that makes me old too!!!

I will bring some folding rocking chairs, cards for canasta and pinochle as well as a cooler for the Geritol. Someone else needs to haul the cribbage boards, I am not hauling those heavy mothers !

Don't tell Coho, but I have an out. You see "BIG money" is a subjective description. So his pocket money is BIG money to me!!!!! I'd buy him a cold drink of his choice. However far he has to travel would be a small price to pay to meet us good guys and get a free drink out of the deal.

Hmm. Always wanted to see the Oregon coast.

Maybe i'll take a week off and haul my old man down the scenic route.

What you think, BirdRunner?

Also, what's the weather like that close to the ocean that time of year. I'd sort of assume it'd just rain all the time.

Well, there would be no single, all defining description for the weather on the OR coast, as it is about a 350 mile stretch. By May the weather does tend to improve, with the temps in mid to high teens Celsius, or about 60 to 65 F during the day, dropping to about 10 to 12 C overnight. Rain is always a possibility on the OR Coast, winter or summer.

Looks like today is exactly 3 months and counting. Our rhubarb is growing in the backyard, pussy willows and green buds everywhere. Made it through another winter !  Twofinger

Gonna hit the garage over the next few weeks and get the bikes all travel ready.  Gonna be an epic riding year for me and Fortuna looks like a great first trip.

Winter's last pathetic gasps ... Pshaw I say !!  It is a mere 30 sleeps to the Vernal Equinox and the first day of the best season. Hope, promise and delight shall soon abound and woebegone motorcyclists now abed shall awaken anew, exuberant of life and go forth, giggling madly, sniffing the open buds, prancing merrily, petting the bunnies and once again all shall be right in the world.

Dance I say ... raise high your spirits my children .... Dance !!
