Return to Hancock, NY

Anyone want to consider returning to Hancock, NY?  I'd like to ride N. E. PA this time, maybe some dirt roads, too.

We stayed at the Capra Inn last time.

Capra Inn is great for riders.  I stumbled across it looking for a place to spend the night on my way to Americade a couple of years ago.

I passed by the Inn as well on my way to Americade. The one thing I did not notice is if there are any local restaurants.

There are a few. Nothing special, but you won't go hungry.

Tim Hortons, McDonalds and a gas station right across the street. What else do you need?

Last time we were there the fishermen where grilling in the parking lot.

Last time we were there I ate a tasty sandwich made at the store next door to the motel.  They had a Boar's Head deli.

I would certainly consider returning to Hancock.

The last time we were there there were like 6-8 fishermen complaining they always book last minute but we filled the place up. It's a nice place!  Do we wanna do June or Sept.?

Hancock is a nice area to ride.  There are a lot of nice roads west of the Catskills, some nice rolling hills and open farmland.  Also route 97, 590 and NE PA.

Set the date ,set the motel ( the Capra is fine by me ) I'll show up.I set Roanoke last year , it turned out fine.just pick a date.

Hi Garry, I'm not seeing this anywhere.  Although I'm generally pretty slow with finding this stuff.  If something's happening at Canaan this May I can make it.

Thanks Jimmy for the link.  I'll be riding asphalt and can't wait.  I just booked 5/13 thru 15 at Canaan.  It may be my first overnighter this year.
