You know, I thought the same thing when I briefly considered one a year ago. Some soft bags and I got a bike for putting around on and the occasional short mileage weekend getaway. That way I could support the American made bike people. But no way on the wind up the pants situation.

Yeah, it is a great looking package with some real performance.  The foot peg placement is completely entrenched in the cruiser market, and could take years to convince that market of the benefit of neutral control positions.  Even then, there will be tons of riders who still prefer the "gynecological" position.
