7 years ago I started a website about the best rides and riding in the East. I started with New England in response to all the questions about where the best riding was. The philosophy has always been to share all the information for free as a way to give back to the motorcycling community. The website has turned into the best resource for Eastern Riding that I know of. I feel that it is much better than all the better known sites. I have now completed Atlantic Canada, New England, and the mid Atlantic States. I have almost completed Virginia & West Virginia and could sure use a little help.

The website consists of the best Roads, Restaurants, Scenic Views, Things to See, and Lodging and includes Google Maps and GPS files. I try to include only the absolute best in wach category. I want to ensure that any road, etc. that you try is great. I am looking for things that are worth riding long distances for.

I kindly ask if you could look at my roads, restaurants, scenic views, things to see, and hotels for Virginia & West Virginia and suggest things that I sould add to the list: http://www.newenglandriders.org/BestOfAppalachians/BestOfTheAppalachians.htm. Everything is broken down by State.

Thank you very much. I would like this multi year hobby to turn into a fantastic resource for Eastern Riders.

Nicely done! I checked a few areas and you have a great variety and all the links work too, bonus! I'll go over some of my favorites soon as the Winter forces me to ride less and I surf riding sites more  Lol, I'll send you some favorites to look over.

Since I'll be doing a good bit of riding in the area(I live in the Eastern Panhandle of WV) I'll gladly give you some photos of the places and keep you updated if I see anything interesting.

Hellbenders Burritos in Davis, WV is a place i always hit when down in the area.  worth a mention.  the Burritos there are phenomenal!

Rella's roadside Cafe (Rella's Pies) was a advrider mainstay.  the riders kept the place alive, but went by last week and it looked pretty dead...anyone know if she's still there?

Bob's Dogs  hotdog stand off 33 west of elkins is a great place to stop.  if you're not hungry you can just look at the menu.  a few hundred combinations of hotdog to order.

And while you're in the area (see above) the Cool Springs Exxon, General Store and Park is worth a stop on route 50 just a bit west of where 72 crosses 50.

It's even made Roadside America:

Wow, just spent a few minutes perusing the site.  All my favorite roads are there, this is exactly what riders need to plan a road trip.  I'll be sharing with all my friends!
