I am just glad to see the constant upgunning of so calle dadventure bikes starting to ease somewhat. For several years now it seemed as if everyone was rushing to build yet another large displacement, really heavy ADV bike. Nice to see Ducati introduce something similar to the F800GS, or the Triumph XC 800.

The there's the G310GS and the Kawasaki Versys 300-X. I was somewhat surprised not to see a 390 Adventure from KTM.

Alas, a little small for me and my needs. At 6ft 2in, 250lbs, and notorious for carrying all the snivel kit I can when out on a long trip, the little bikes would not do me well ;-)

I've been waiting for the midsized bike that isn't BMW, Ducati, or Honda...the upcoming 700 Yamaha looks like it. Ducati almost had me with the Desert Sled...but apparently it's heavy and it is a Ducati, so maintenance is an issue with the mileage I ride.
 Downsizing is good!

LOL...yes, because 150+ hp bikes with nanny rider aids up the wahzoo so they can be safely handled are only for young and highly skilled riders, as opposed to a bike like this one made for real riders in the real world, who live with real budgets.

If meals on wheels bikes like this one means they actually make sense,  then bring them on.

This is a very good altenative to the over the top motorcycle trend built for secure and mature riders who understand and appreciate the "less is more" mentality.

I would not call this a less is more motorcycle.   It wouldn't be meals on wheels if this were true
