I'd rather sweat than shiver.

10-4. Let's do Weaverville and schedule so Bubba Zanetti can make it (as well as all others of course).

Thanks Dan. But this date looks very good for many folks.

I am flexible. A week either side of the current proposed date would not hurt me one bit.

Well, while all this was going on, one of my riding groups formed up a ride to New Mexico during the same week. Their ride is scheduled and they are booking now so I'm going to change plans and ride with them, skipping WCRM for this year.

Maybe next year.

I agree. So, it looks like Weaverville meets the expectations of most. Here are the alternatives:

1.Stick with June 10-12 , but then we miss Jim's effervescent company!
2.June 3 -5
3.June 17 - 19

Cast yer votes, and vote often!

Not voting because my schedule is changing weekly. Just in case it's an issue, though, June 18 is Father's Day.

June 3-5 works best for me. 6-10 is my second choice.

I've got a 2,000 mile ride planned for months on May 30 to June 3. June 10-12 or June 17-19 is best for me. It would be pretty tough to get home from my long ride via Northern California.

Any other input? So far it would seem from the 3 replies that 10 -12 would be overall best. Anyone else have an opinion?

Also, it would be nice to also get some numbers as to how many plan to attend. I have researched the hotels in the area and the 49'er in Weaverville looks to be about the best alternative.

We should make some sort of decision asap so as to firm things up some. Also, please pipe in if you have a preferred alternate location.

Let's get this sorted this week.

10-12 th  make my decision harder because now it's actually possible to get there.   so far categorize me as a very interested observer.

So,June 10 to 12.Jim,I sure hope you can make it.

But, as I realize it, I misquoted the dates, because I seem to have a problem interpreting the calendar. It should be June 9 to 11. Silly me.

Now, where to stay?Anyone have a preference in the area?

Last WCRM there was at Trinity Motel. Has a pool if that matters. Older style drive up.

What was the Trinity like? It seems to get a mixed bag of reviews, from great place to disaster, and a couple of people reporting bed bugs.

It was fine. Two star, old and in need of updates. But clean and comfortable. However a few years can make quite a difference to that age of premises. Good location.

It's interesting. I could leave here about 4pm on the 9th. Ride to Kennewick Wa. From there it is 575 Miles to Weaverville. Do-able. But Have no idea if I can do that n the Triumph.  Headscratch
My guess is not. But I could arrive Sunday  Lol
