After much deliberation and interweb searching I recently purchased a Fieldsheer adventure tour jacket from Powersports superstore online. It had great online reviews and was a great price. It was shipped quickly and I am pleased as heck with the quality, features and the fit with one exception.  The back protector, which is CE rated as is the rest of the armour, fits into its pouch in the liner upside down.  At least compared to every other jackets liner that I have seen.  It is roughly t-shaped and the way the back pocket or sleeve for the armor is sewn, it only fits wide part of the pad to the bottom. Does anyone else have this jacket, or any opinion on whether this is a defect or by design. I can wear it as is, but I do believe there is a quality issue here.

Any insight or opinions are appreciated.

I don't have that jacket. But I just bought a FS Shadow jacket in Hi-Vis.  Jacket is nice and it fits me pretty good too. Sorry I can't answer your question although my jacket feels quality.
