I bought this exhaust years ago for my 2005 FJR1300. Took it off when I sold the 2005. It is twenty pounds lighter than the 2012 FJR1300 stock exhaust that it just replaced. I bought the Muzzy with the Titanium muffler.

So enjoy the pictures without the plastic and also with the bike ready to ride. The exhaust is a bit loud but sounds great. I never want to disturb my neighbors or act like a hooligan around town so I short shift at under 3,000 RPMs which is no problem for this torquey motor. And for some of you here that don't think an air box modification and exhaust system change doesn't help an FJR............... bring any year stock FJR and a lot of $!!!!

I though Muzzy was a Kawasaki brand !!   Lol

I have always liked the Muzxy products.  I miss Rob Muzxy being involved in Superbike racing.

Blue:

Have you had any problems with the muzzy exhaust rubbing on the ground in corners. This was a problem on 2nd gen FJR's with some manufacturers, but I forget which ones.

(It was usually just reported by true knee dragers and not the majority of riders)

Does it run leaner with the airbox mod and the muzzy exhaust?

No I haven't. I can touch the foot pegs but not the pipe.

At very light part throttle not much difference. At medium throttle or load situations when climbing and/or sport riding it actually runs a touch RICHER than stock. I think that has to do with the catalytic converter removal and Yamaha programming. WOT still runs great.

On a recent 2,400 mile trip one of the buddies wanted to run his 2013 against my 2012 to see how the pipe/air box mod  would do against his GEN 3 FJR1300. I had never run one of the newest FJRs. We decided to go in 2nd gear at about 4,000 RPMs. Beforehand I told him he would jump me and I would get him later. We weighed about the same and started perfect so it was an even start. Sure enough, he did jump me about a bike length and when we hit 3rd gear I had caught him and then I just ran away.
