I have to admit mixed feelings about the looks. Smile

I don't mind the occasional angle, but I think this is a bit of overkill.

It's like they took all the ugly bits from the Civic and stuck them on a bike.  Lots of neat little places for dirt to hide.  Thumbsdown

Wow. Uggggly! Wtf are they smoking at Honda Headquarters? They seem to have veered off path into the toolies lately. That bike has less ground clearance than most of my street bikes.
The African Twin has turned out to be a bit of a turd with plenty of problems and questionable finish and quality, once the effects of the kool-aid wear off. I heard something  about a replacement already being in the works? Hope this wasn't it....lol

Really? I hadn't heard any of that. All the reviews I read were stellar.

Various forums...definitely not the road testers that ride a bike for 3 days...lol. More weight than advertised and less power, poor fit and finish, bad switchgear, transmission woes, the usual Honda camchain tensioner issues. That was the final straw that chased me off of most of my Hondas. Their chains and tensioners have been failing since the original CB750,..you think they would bring someone in and solve their problems!
To be fair, there are plenty of guys with few problems, and they love the bikes.  Personally,I don't think you should have to baby something or worry about it.
Yes, I am biased against Honda after being let down a few times too many, but I still own 7 of them.

Had an old CBR F4 and the tensioner went around 7000 miles

That did tick me off a bit

Well that sucks. I seriously considered getting one but I just couldn't bring myself to part with 13 grand. I ended up with a used FJ-09 instead.

Sounds pretty typical Honda these days.  Invent a market that nobody asked for and then release something to appease their image while giving their customer base something to roll their eyes at.

They must know what they are doing.  Haven't gone broke yet.
