I hope it's the FJ-07 I've been waiting for.

I seldom, if ever, get what I want, however.

Maybe I'll get lucky this time.

I can always hope. No?

I agree

Smaller touring bike would be a nice change

Looking the other way, maybe it's a new Venture replacement?

I'm not wishing for that though. I'm with you. FJ-07... or maybe an FJ-10 with the FZ-10 engine? Remember Yamaha did "reserve" (copywright) the FJ-10 moniker recently.

I don't at all get the sense that it's a sport tourer, but rather a Goldwing-like deluxe cruiser in their Star line.

Considering where the introduction is being made...Americade....I don't see it being any type of SPORT-tourer.

Americade

Wasn't that a big World Championship Wrestling event back in the 1980's?   Ric Flair and the 4 horseman and Mr Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin ?   Lol

All Star V-twin cruisers shown in part 3, no hint of anything FJR style. Yawn.

"All‑New "top‑of‑the‑line" transcontinental tourer combines emotional V‑Twin performance with cutting‑edge comfort and technology."

But does it go "potato potato"?

That's a sport tourer?  The best part of the previous Ventures was the V-4 motor.  So they dropped it, of course.

But does it go "potato potato"?

It can't.  The motor co. has that patented.  Or copywrited.

Tomatoes are totally american (central and south america first).
How about plums?  In Japanese it'd be "sumomo, sumomo"

Tuff?  I don't think so. Some of us have just grown a little weary
of the suits on Madison Ave telling us what we want.
