Marquez won because he is brilliant, and lucky, not because the bike is brilliant. In fact, it blew an engine that cost him a race.  Pedrosa on the same bike finished 51 points behind  Dovi on his GP17. Crutchlow 149 points behind....Rossi 53 points behind and Vinales 31. So really, other than for the brilliance of Marquez, Yamahas and Hondas sucked  Bigok this year, with some of the best riders on the planet riding them. Bigok Suzuki had a season to forget as well.  Thumbsdown
