Who here has Road the Mokee Dugway? I was just talking to some folks who found this road by accident. They said it's the most interesting road they have motorcycled on.
I'd imagine that plenty here have done it. The dugway is a series of unpaved bulldozed switchbacks (hence, the name) that descend off the mesa--so this part isn't all that long. North and south of this bit, the road is fairly straight. On the edge of the mesa is a fine view of the Mexican Hat valley, and you're nearby (as these things go) to lots of classic monument valley scenery. Only the switchbacks are unpaved; all the rest is fine pavement.
