Does anyone form Interior BC know if Bear Lake Main Road from WestKam to Westwold is paved? In lieu of WCRM this year (had to bail due to purchasing a new boat), I will be camping at Fintry 17 to 20, and saw this road on the map. I cannot find any info regarding it.

Not paved. This comes out on Douglas Lake Road, which is all gravel.

Yeah, nothing at all paved between Westside Road and 5A except the highways though if you head north on Westside Road from Fintry to Highway 97 both Salmon River Road and Otter Lake Road/Knob Hill Rd/Deep Creek Rd up to Salmon Arm are nice rides (and paved). Chase-Falkland Rd is gravel for part of the way.

There is a decent chance, but these are Canadian bears...you just offer them a beer, talk about hockey, bash the prime minister and it's all good. You'll be best buds in no time.
