I was sort of upset when I learned that the fed was closed yesterday. I knew it was out of respect for Bush so rolled with it. What chapped me is that, because I retired in 2012, I didn't get the day off from work.

Let's see here. This looks like a classic balance of pro vs con. Retired and have government check rolling in or still have to work and get ONE day off. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but this sounds simple enough for me.

Me and Buelligan are going to catch up in the next day or so.  Not sure which bike he will be riding so I'll bring my jumper cables.    Bigsmile

When I read these sort of threads, it reminds me of two things that I hate: crappy weather and working.  Crazy

I think some of these retired people should organize a Colorado STN rally.

I've based a few of my rides out of Montrose, Colorado.
Great roads in every direction!  The grand mesa, hwy 92, hwy149, hwy550, hwy 142 just to name a few.

I remember this post! I was in California but couldn't get over there due to other plans.

I will try very hard to make this ride next year(2019).

Good ride/introduce today!!                      Bigok
