Anyone interested in a cheap, but good bike?
2006 Yamaha FJR1300A, 170,xxx miles, located in Northern Illinois.

The Good:
It's cheap, $1500 takes it out of my garage.
Starts and runs and still good for many more miles.
Oil &filter changes have been with Motul 300V every 5,000 miles.
Galfer rotors and pads just replaced May 2018.
New radiator as of May 2018.
Extra headlight bulbs to go with it (won't be needed with an '18)
Yamaha top case and mounting bracket included.
V-Strom hand guards in matching paint.
Skyway frame sliders and handlebar-end weights.
It fell over once, but never crashed.

The Bad:
Needs shift dawgs for 2nd gear replaced, second gear still works, but you can't twist the throttle hard in second as the bike doesn't like it. It's been like this for quite some time, oh, maybe the last 50-70,000 miles....
Needs tires. 11,000 miles on the current PR5s from May 2018
It's been well used, not a garage king. It currently needs a good bath. Last rain storm I was caught in was while in Tennessee and Florence was in the area.
Looking to rehome so there is room for the soon-to-be adopted '18.

Did you get a deal on a left over '18 or don't care for the '19 color?

Both. I prefer blue and the matte blue is becoming more attractive every day. The 2019 US is Graphite grey or silver... bleah.
Also, when GrnArrowe got his 2016 on Oct 25, 2016, he got a decent price.  I'm gonna try to get that same price.

And I really, really want cruise. Smile
