Went for a ride with two buddies on Friday. I took my FJR. A bit cold but with the Winter gear not bad at all to ride in. From Rio Rancho to Cuba for lunch. Then we went the back way to Torreon and home. Never been through Torreon before.  Sorry no pictures. I'm terrible with pictures.      Had to take a layer off because after lunch it was in the high 50s. 150 miles for me. 50.2 MPG.

Last couple of days I've had the bug to hit the road for an overnight. Looking at the weather I can see that it isn't terrible cold and not much snow to contend with. Thinking of about 450 miles to Southern Utah. Have to think some more on this. Pretty soon it will be too close to holidays and family stuff and the cold will then make riding all the more difficult.

Good for you.  Thumbsup

In October, it rained here every weekend except one and I worked on my truck that weekend. Other than commuting, I only got in about two hours of riding. Probably the least I've ridden in the last ten years. This month, the weather sucked again each weekend until today. It was forecast to be a high of 63. By 2:00, my bike thermometer read 69. I was shedding layers quick. I ended up with just under 200 miles for the day.

I ran out of daylight or I would've had about 100 more.
