We don't need no stinkin' battery tenders!

A couple of buddies and I went for a burger ride on Saturday. About 110 miles round trip for me and not too bad of a day. There still was a little snow on the ground up in the Jemez. A buddy on his BMW R9T Racer and his brother on a BMW ABC1200XWZ(I get the alphabet BMWs mixed up!). Met a guy up there that had a nice KTM 1290 Adv. Got his number as he is a twelve month rider too.

Cool. On bad weather days, work on your picture taking skills.

Today, Friday 1/25, we went back to the Jemez Pueblo for some lunch. Cold today. No one was there so we had the fireplace to ourselves. Got a chance to speak to the owner for quite a bit.

On Friday we went back to the Pueblo for some more lunch. Cold! But again we had the side room to ourselves with the fireplace roaring! Lousy FJR only got 52.3 MPG.
I think I will move to Oklahoma where I know of a guy that can help me get my dirt bike riding skills back to acceptable and he can show me all the great off road sites. They don't have snow there.

Haven't ridden since last Monday. Winter sucks and they are predicting record lows next couple days with the coating of sleet we got last night I probably won't get back on a bike till Friday maybe. PMS is making me not a pleasant person.
Did you get a new bike, Jay? Perhaps red and in the 450 size?

Am I that obvious or are you psychic? Check the "why you should get a dual sport" thread.
I was in Edmond yesterday. I had a three-day seminar in Midwest City so after Saturday class we stopped by Oklahoma Honda/Suzuki and picked this up. After we left, we decided to get something to eat. Knowing that nothing but McDonald's was on the turnpike, we headed to Edmond. We ended up at S and B Burger Joint. We liked it.

I was going to leave early this morning for the photo tag stuff before the ridiculous winds kick up. I know exactly where to find the latest photo grab. No way. The winds are stupid right now.
