Texas Hill Country Location

I'm rolling in from Oregon via Tucson.  I would love to spend 3 days exploring the Hill Country and Austin area.  I'm seeking a recommendation on a place to park my 25' Airstream that allows me access to some decent riding.  Electric hook up and water would be a big plus.  I will arrive somewhere in early January.

Any Walmart parking lot. It will be secure there because, no matter how far from the doors you park, it will be surrounded by other cars parked inches from each side of you when you get back.

Riding in that part of the country now is certainly better than in the Summer. I've been near there but never went through. Good luck and good viewing.

We rode and camped in Texas Hill Country a few years ago. We camped three nights in state parks. All were nice and I think all had facilities to accommodate your rig.

Heard good things about Schreiner Park in Kerrville

I've seen RV parks in Leakey, and probably all the towns had I paid attention. Tourists and deer hunters are a big deal in the area. Might contact the Chamber of Commerce of some of the towns.

Garner was one that we stayed at, I liked it.
We also stayed at Lady Bird Johnson Park in Fredericksburg. Garner was much better.
S. Llano State Park was the third one.
