How many people generally show up? I like the idea of coffee meets. I wish they would do it here. Everyone here just seems to want to go for alcohol.

Fifteen years ago it would be 10 to 20. Most would ride a few hours before the meeting at 10AM. Then socialize for an hour and then ride several more hours. Now it's 4 to 7 who ride to coffee, socialize for a few hours and then ride home.

Perhaps. But I bet most of us just have a metric shit ton of things to do
and very little spare time to do them. Hence, difficult to make time
to shoot the breeze, let alone ride.

When I was working(hard), had a big house/yard to keep up, kids to visit close by, Gkids to babysit now and again, church every Sunday, etc I still put 10,000 miles average per year on the bikes. Bikes were/are a part of my life and something that I budget time for. Bikes will always take precedence over a ball game on TV or anything else. They are so important to "living" a good and healthy life.
Too bad I don't have a coffee event near me!!!! Good for you guys.
