Hello guys,

Im trying to install the CCS100 cruise control in my 2018 DL650 Vstrom.

Followed the instructions, but system does not work.

Gone to the troubleshooting section of the installation manual and opened de cover on cruise and looked at the LED. Than:

a)      Press Set button, and LED LIGHET properly.  Seens ok, right?

b)      Press Resume button, and LED LIGHET properly. Seens ok, right?  But…

c)       Step on the brake, but LED DOES NOT lighted.  Seens something is NOT RIGHT, ok?

Don’t know if somebody can help giving any tips to fix it.

Any help is very appreciated !!!!

Thanks a lot.

Sorry the bad English.

I have installed two on different bikes with no problem. I can't remember where the wires go but it is straight forward. Recheck all your wires and make sure they are connected to the proper signal source(brake lights, power and so forth). Then you have to make sure your "dip switches" in the brain are properly positioned up or down. Should work. Good luck.

Do you have any extra lights wired into your
brake lights? Any LEDs ?
Many have found it necessary to wire a relay
into the brake light circuit to keep voltage
to CC at 0 volts till brakes are activated.
