A little late for the post but Webb is the champ. Marvin Musquin(?) and Eli Tomac put up a good fight. Usually Tomac was fastest and Musquin was fastest several times. Webb was always right there and did not fold under the pressure. That's what champions do. Congratulations to him.

My grandson was in the Dallas pits last year and Tomac gave him a thumbs up. He's been his favorite rider since.

The smart riders know who pays their salary and doing that kind of stuff is what makes some better than others.

Guy Cooper was the master at that.

My oldest daughter was a McGrath fan. She got his autograph once and he didn't even look her in the eye. She was probably ten at the time and she had stood in line for 45 minutes. It was a huge disappointment for her. And yes, I understand that he probably signed a thousand autographs that day, but ten year-olds don't understand that.
