6/7 - 6/9/2019: Mayhem Ride in Boscobel, WI

Cari and I are riding out Friday night after work, staying in a B&B, then ride and hang out with the group Saturday. Maybe see some local sights (besides roads) in the evening. We'll then stay over Saturday night and leave first thing Sunday morning.

We'll leave my place in Vernon Hills, IL around 4:15 and take a direct, non-expressway route there. We should arrive right at dark. (it's 180 miles)

Anyone? How come no one here wants to ride in a group any more, except a couple retired guys going to coffee in the middle of the week.

It saddens me. We're a mere shadow of what we once were.

No one wants to commit to anything.

I'm going to rallies down in Kentucky next month and one in Missouri in September. They're a bit closer to OK, maybe you can make one of them?

This ride was fun, but not worth the trip up from OK. It wound up being 60% cruisers, which ruined all the turns for anyone behind them.

At this time, I don't see any reason why we can't do Bull Shoals. I get off on Fridays at about 1:00 so I could ride up that afternoon. I'd have to take Monday off but it shouldn't be a problem.

I booked mine awhile ago, and the main lodging place was already full. I had to book the back-up or secondary back-up hotel.
