Yes, I do still ride my streetbike

Over Labor Day weekend, Lisa went to visit her mother in Minnesota. I had to work, so I rode my bike back to Oklahoma through Iowa and Missouri. I stopped for a few pictures along the way.
Airport in Owatonna, Minnesota.
Buddy Holly crash site, Clear Lake, Iowa.
Railroad depot in Boone, Iowa.
"J" Avenue railroad overpass, Boone County, Iowa.
Kate Shelley railroad bridges in Boone County, Iowa.
Battin Chapel, Boone County, Iowa.
Hickory Grove School, Ogden, Iowa.
Fredericksen School, Boutin, Iowa.
Railroad depot, Cameron, Missouri.
Partial trip meter-a pretty good pace for this segment.

I stopped to get gas in Missouri. An old, junky Harley pulled in a few pumps over. It looked to be in really ratty condition, a big pile. The guy looked like a 1%er but I couldn't read his rocker or patches. A few miles down the highway, I was cruising along about 80mph. I see his bike coming in my mirror. He blows past like I was standing still. I'll bet he was doing 120. He never let off and disappeared from sight.

Ha! I know Jay is selling us baloney sauce here. That little 847cc pee shooter bike won't go 100 mph.

Best engine I've ever had. Electronically limited at 115mph. I've done that many times.

My new CRF450L is electronically limited at 90mph. It'll do that easily.

It was on a hill but I did get it up to that speed.

Blue is best.
My speedometer on the FJ reads 1-2 mph fast compared to GPS. The 450 is about 1 mph fast at an indicated 90 mph.

More of a "too fast for conditions" situation instead of a "top speed" once.

We have to give Blue a close second (he isn’t doing wheelies through the neighborhood just yet)

Thank you. I'll gladly accept second place. When I rode my little friends motocross bike(KTM 250 SX) a couple of months ago I did a stoppie on it!! Maybe I can get one of my buddies to take a picture of me on my Bandit doing a wheelie!! I gotta keep up with Jay!
