The first week in October saw a new addition and a different brand than my current Yamaha's. I found a well running, cosmetically challenged 1990 Honda VFR750F RC36/1. The bike had been listed in the local Facebook Market Place all summer. The biggest selling point was the RC30 Left Side exit Exhaust. The exhaust is worth more than what I paid for the bike. There is a Used, Muzzy brand RC30 exhaust currently on eBay for a tad over $1000.00  EEK!

When I saw the bike, most of the Tupperware was there and intact. Glaringly obvious was that 90% of the left side mid fairing was missing.

On the way to get Tags, Title and a new rear tire. This tire has a date code of 2004

Sweet! I still miss my VFR - it was a great bike.

Good to see that you got the fairings sorted out. My bike was considered totalled after a low side because of the fairings. I bought the bike back and fixed her up  Inlove

Nice bike  Bigok

Where did you find the Mid Fairing?  That must have been hard to find.

Aviation Fred certainly has some of the most beautiful sport bikes ever made 👍

Very nice collection.

What’s next?

For me I’d love to have a ZX 9

I found an online company that has an eBay store. They make reproduction fairing pieces for the 1990-1993 VFR's out of Fiberglass.

I am leaning toward something a bit less popular and not to everyone's taste.

First generation... (the only generation in the U.S.)
