Skimming on Youtube, I've seen some people pack portable hanging showers, one person said he had a gym membership at a national chain.  I've seen showers at the truck stops, but I don't know how much those cost to use, and they always seem to have a line.  Any recommendations?

Ive got one of those - pretty slick really.  Fill it and let it sit out for the afternoon and the water is downright hot and you get a good 3-5 mins of shower time.

If you bring trunks, you can shower pretty much anywhere and upside is, if someone calls the cops, you probably dont have enough water left for them to get there in time before you take off

but seriously, its an easy thing to pack down to next to nothing and they are fairly inexpensive.

When picking stuff for bike "adventures" think "hiking" gear. Usually packs small and light; perfect for bike trips.
