That was awesome stuff.
What are you using now a days that may be similar to that old school stuff we used to have?

Lisa is a Simple Green fan. Generally in my case, if the car wash doesn't get it off, it stays on.
If I absolutely have to get off some small grease or oil spots, I will use Goo Gone.

Honda cleaner was also a wax and a protector as well. Unique product. You could also use it on helmet visors without damaging them.
I loved the stuff.
I like simple green and goo gone.

I like S100. Spray it on. Hose it off. Lots of hose it off. I then use a leaf blower to blow the water off before it leaves water spots.
I do that once or twice a year.
I don't spend much time polishing. I just want the road salt off.

That was pretty much what I used. Back when I actually washed my vehicles in my driveway

From the manufacturer of the original Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish:
http://www.originalbikespirits.com/products/spray-cleaner-polish/
The first question on the "About Us" tab:
Is the Original Bike Spirits Spray Cleaner & Polish product a new formulation?
No. It is the same formulation previously provided by Amrep, under various private label brands,
including Pro Honda Spray Cleaner & Polish and Harley-Davidson.

I scored a 64 oz. jug of this a couple weeks ago at the car wash. Someone had left it behind. The reviews are good but I haven't tried it yet.

I thought all riders 15 or so years ago used Honda cleaner. It came in small size or large size cans. You could carry the small can with you and wipe down your bike/helmet.
Great stuff till government outlawed it.

The Honda people in GWRRA used it more than any other group I've ridden with. Even they didn't use it universally as that's where I learned about Mother's Back To Black, and the Maguire's Mirror Glaze Clear cleaner/polish from others in GWRRA who did massive show-and-shines and had tried many different products that work beyond the show.
Some versions of Armor-all could (according to how I learned it) crazy plastic over time as it pulls the petroleum bits to the top to help make it shine. All I knew was that it looked like some plastic has been hit with acid. Other mixes of it simply yellowed over time. Back To Black did the good with none of the bad.
Maguire's Mirror Glaze was designed for clear plastics (face/wind shields, gauges, etc.). No haze left behind like with Honda SP, Plexus, or other general-purpose quickie solutions. No damage to mfgr hard coatings that can happen with furniture polish.

None of it is as good as the original Honda cleaner (and that cleaner could be used on anything without risk of damaging things)
Government outlawed Honda cleaner (by the way)

Hey FlyBoy, you contracted with Honda or something?
Everyone around Charlotte was using the stuff until it was outlawed. Small aerosol can that you could clean windscreens and helmets and most anything else with on a short stop on a long ride.
Just worked well if you wanted to keep your stuff clean while on the road.
But yeah I do like Honda. (Never had to push one 1.5 miles home like that Yamaha I had)

It was the best for light cleaning and putting a shine on. Really cleaning a dirty motorcycle required washing first.
The Triumph show and demo fleets had Honda cleaner by the case on the truck. We got lots of comments and jokes about the Honda brand, but always told everyone how good it worked.
